How to resize without losing quality?

Downscaling has minimal impact on quality. Upscaling inevitably causes some loss of sharpness — this is a limitation of raster graphics. Use 90-100% quality to minimize losses.

What does "maintain aspect ratio" mean?

When enabled, the image scales proportionally. If you only specify width 800px, height will be calculated automatically to prevent distortion.

Can I enlarge a small image?

Technically yes, but quality will suffer — blurring and pixelation will appear. We recommend enlarging no more than 2x.
